What is Leralink?

Is Leralink just a different name for a typical website?

LeraLink is an idea that started in under a different name. Its name was iLiBRi. I had inspired it from the word "libra", which means book. Today, LeraLink is precisely the very platform on which I am writing and publishing in. One of my constant problems, as an immigrant who has been away from his country and same-language audience for many years, was that I kept moving from one tool to another for writing, establishing communication with the world, managing knowledge, and connecting with the audience. I was never satisfied with a single tool. One did not respect my privacy, another was incomplete, and overall, the reason for creating those tools was the main cause of their deficiency in meeting my needs. LeraLink is a knowledge management and lifecycle ecosystem. Knowledge that may be recorded with text, and perhaps with image and sound.

In the worst circumstances of life, one of the most important things I have been engaged in was reading books (and these days mostly online) and writing and taking notes. I filled many 200-page notebooks, and as it happens, despite the fact that people rarely return to their notes, I was always reviewing my notes. For many years, due to being cut off from the social, cultural, and biological context, the major problem for me was that these notes did not turn into training, activity, implementation, and building something new and fresh. Gradually, all these notes and all the knowledge accumulated in my mind seemed futile. Indeed, what is the use of writing, reading, and acquiring knowledge if we cannot practically apply it in some dimensions of life?

LeraLink has been built and demolished many times. In the path of creating a desirable knowledge management and lifecycle platform, we studied all possibilities and technologies. This study led us to numerous methods and designs. The public space was mesmerized by the growth of "Hooshvareh" (a term I prefer over "artificial intelligence" in Persian), and many still dump everything onto the shoulders of the Hooshvareh. For me, it took perhaps 3 years to be able to identify the unique role of humans in the process of gathering, searching, producing, distributing, and recycling knowledge in a world that is rapidly moving towards the autonomy of tools and rendering humans jobless. It is very important that what we design engages the human in the process where necessary. LeraLink is the product of a massive amount of failures in creating a knowledge ontology and a framework that could lead to designing a tool with the necessary efficiency. I call this framework the Language Agnostic Knowledge Framework.

Definition of LeraLink

LeraLink is a native AI for generating, organizing, validating, publishing, and recombining multilingual knowledge. Rather than a text, book, or course as the fundamental unit of knowledge, it decomposes it into independent, multimedia, meaningful, and linkable fragments. Each fragment can exist in different languages, in the form of text, audio, image, or video, retaining its history, sources, , , versions, citations, and conceptual relations, and dynamically reused in new works, courses, books, research, and experiences.

LeraLink is built on the assumption that knowledge is not inherently dependent on language, medium, or publication format. What needs to be managed is knowledge itself and the relationships among its components, not merely files or . Hence, its architecture is designed to as an intermediary layer between languages, media formats, publishing , and AI systems, enabling the free, accurate, and traceable circulation of knowledge.

In LeraLink, AI is not merely a content generation tool; rather, it is present throughout the entire knowledge cycle: from extracting concepts and identifying sources, to suggesting semantic connections, , peer review, quality control, personalizing paths, automatically combining knowledge fragments, and generating outputs tailored to the audience and the publication context.

Leralink is simultaneously a knowledge management infrastructure, an academic and educational publishing platform, an AI-native system, and a network for collective participation in knowledge ownership and development. This platform enables individuals, universities, publishers, organizations, educational institutions, and businesses to produce and manage their knowledge in a standardized, multilingual, citable, and reusable manner; such that the value of each resource and contribution continuously increases based on its usage, linkage, and impact across the entire knowledge ecosystem.

The ultimate of Leralink is to create a language-agnostic architecture for knowledge; an architecture that can transcend the historical limitations of language, format, and traditional publishing institutions, providing a foundation where knowledge can flow seamlessly between humans, languages, and artificial intelligence systems while preserving quality, , credibility, and the rights of .
